Managed and marketed a revenue-generating department providing continuing education and business television services to internal and external customers. Expanded the client base and scope of projects, established new projects and joint ventures, developed strategic plans, and significantly increased the visibility of the department and the station in the community. Increased revenue more than 60%. Raised both the quantity and quality of production, achieving national and local recognition. Produced and directed a major stationwide fundraising campaign underwritten by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to serve as a demonstration project for the PBS network. Acquired an $80,000 grant from the State Council on Developmental Disabilities to train California peace officers how to interact with people with disabilities. Initiated and supervised a research program identifying business communication needs in San Diego, and was a key participant in developing the station's management strategy for information technology.
